Review Requests

Preferences
I accept print copies and Kindle copies for review, though print is always preferable (note: I live in the United States). I will not share or sell any work sent to me unless given permission.

My preferred reads are Young Adult, Middle-Grade Fantasy, and Adult Urban Fantasy. I do enjoy graphic novels, though I rarely review them on the blog. I don't typically read (or have any liking for) horror, verse, religious novels, non-fiction, or self-help books.

You can look over past reviews at the blog for a better idea of whether or not I am a good fit for your book. It is important to know that I am the right reviewer for you.

What to include in the review request
At minimum, please include the following in your review request:
  • Book title, author, and synopsis
  • Book cover
  • Link to the book's Goodreads page

Optional (but preferable, especially if I haven't worked with you before):
  • First chapter to the book or an excerpt, in the body of the email if possible

If you include anything else, please place it after all this, so I don't have to scroll through the email to find them.

What to expect from my review
  • Book cover and title
  • Author, publisher, and links to their sites if I can find them
  • Publication date and page number
  • Book synopsis (typically as shown on Goodreads)
  • Rating
  • Other details if requested (book trailer, excerpt, giveaway, etc.)
  • Honesty

My review will be posted at this blog, Goodreads, Random Buzzers, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble.

Again, keep in mind that I will leave a review that conveys my honest opinion.

Note
Please understand that I cannot accept every request sent to me, though I do read every one that is sent to me. Also note, because it has become too time-consuming, I am no longer responding to requests unless I am accepting them. I am usually good at checking email and will typically respond to emails within a couple days, though it may take a few weeks when I hit an examination period. As much as I love books and want to work with them every day of my life, I'm a student first!

Other Promotional Events
I love getting to know authors and am always happy to further promote them and their awesome works through interviews, guest posts, and giveaways. And I am always open to participating in blog tours for books that I accept for review. Note, however, that I do not post mass-produced promo posts. I like to keep my content original.
