If you'd like for me to review a book, please look over our review polices below before emailing.
Kris's policies:
First, you can look over past reviews at the blog for a better idea of whether or not I am a good fit for your book. It is important to know that I am the right reviewer for you. Keep in mind though I will leave a review that conveys my honest opinion. If I really didn't like the book, I will explain why I didn't like it on Goodreads, and I will not post a review at the blog. If it is agreeable with you, I will then give it away or pass it on to another reviewer.
If you are interested in having me (Kris) read and review your book, email me at imaginaryreads[at]gmail[dot]com. In the email, please include the pitch of the book and a link to the Goodreads page. That's all I ask for. I try to go through review requests a couple times a week. Due to the number of requests, please keep the email short and to the point. It helps if you show that you've read my past reviews and that you a feel for what kind of books I read. I don't like mass marketing emails, and I won't read someone's review on the book if you include it in the email. I will not look at any attachments in the email.
If I accept the review request, I will send you my mailing address (Note: I live in the United States) if applicable. I am also open to Kindle copies for review.
I post my reviews here at Imaginary Reads, Goodreads, and (if already published) Amazon. I will also post reviews at Library Thing and Random Buzzers.
Hikari's policies:
Same as Kris. Hikari will read practically any YA book, as long as it's interesting. However, she does have a particular liking for contemporary romances, dystopias, and horror novels. If you think she'd be interested in your book, email her at hikablack[at]gmail[dot]com. She accepts both hardcopies and Kindle copies. (Note: she lives in Hong Kong. She has a U.S. address, but it may take a few months for it to reach her from there.)
