2 weeks ago I asked you guys to tell me why I should give you Don't Turn Around.
Congratulations to alice for winning the giveaway.
alice, send us an e-mail in the next 48 hours, and we'll arrange for your book to be sent to you.
Imagine This is a feature hosted by Austin at Imaginary Reads where he comes up with a question that asks readers to explore a book and come up with an outcome using the power of imagination.
In Hidden, the main character Jacinda is a draki who longs for the freedom of the human world.
If you were a draki in the human world, where would you go and what would you do?
To enter, follow Imaginary Reads and answer the question above. The person who presents the best answer will receive a copy of Hidden.
Giveaway open to US only, but anyone is free to comment. Extra entry in another giveaway happening on the blog for tweeting the following message provided below:

ReplyDeleteIf I was a draki, I'd go to the Rocky Mountains in Alaska. It's isolated so much that I could fly as much as I want. :D

I'm not sure what a draki is, since I haven't read the books. However, I think that I would just be myself. I wouldn't hide from everyone, just because I was different. I would embrace my uniqueness, and would hope that others would do the same. I would be friends with people who understood me and what/who I am, instead of the ones that are only using me for THEIR selfish plans.

Wow well if I was a draki I would probably go to Area 51 because I want to know what kinds of mysteries there hiding :)

I would visit a lake in a deserted area--Draki's love water!
ReplyDeleteI also tweeted for an extra entry to the Defiance contest :) (https://twitter.com/AboutToRead/status/243567989402767362)
Well I am thinking Jacinda needs a grand tour ;) We will start off in San Francisco and walk along the wharf nibbling on shrimp cocktails and clam chowder in the bread bowls. Then a ride down Lombard Steet. Next stop New York City at night to see all the lights and interesting people. Off we go to New Orleans to share in the local culture and culinary delights with a little jazz. Then for some peace and relaxation hop on over to Catalina Island on the ferry. There are so many awesome places, people, cultures, and good foods to explore just around the US, not to mention stepping out on over to the beaches of Alexandria, Egypt where we will take a rest and share good conversation and make plans for out next stop.
