Today, I'm delighted to interview with Brodi Ashton and Cole from her Everneath series!

What do you like most about Cole?
I like that he is persistent, and if you look really hard, and you're patient, you might even see a little tenderness about him. He is a very complex character!
I agree. It's one of the reasons that Cole is my favorite character, in addition the hotness factor. Is there a song that you associate with Cole?
"Ulysses" by Franz Ferdinand. Especially the part about "Never Going Home"
If he approached you on the street and asked you to a dance, what would you do?
I'd ask my husband if he would mind, and then I would go.
Welcome to the blog, Cole. How would you describe yourself?
I live for music, and I get what I want. Lot's of people live life. I drink it!
How would you describe your relationship with music?
Music is life. I have an instant connection to the audience, both figuratively and literally.
Do you have any regrets about your immortality?
None. Absolutely none. Just don't ask me about my history.
When you first met Nikki, what were your thoughts about her?
She had such a beautiful and unique dichotomy of emotions, and she could wear both of them on her face at once. I had to find out what made a girl so happy and so sad at the same time.
What traits do you admire in Nikki?
The trait I admire most is also the one that causes me the most hassle, and that is her tenacity. She is so determined to Return to the Surface, even though I know how much pain that decision will cause her. And yet, there's no talking to her when she sets her mind to something.
Thus far, Nikki doesn't seem to have much interest in you. If Nikki finally agrees to be your queen, what would be the first thing you do?
Honeymoon!
How would you describe your relationship, if there is one, with Jack? Seeing as how he's anchored Nikki all this time.
Jack's a pansy.
Thanks for joining us, Brodi and Cole!

Last spring, Nikki Beckett vanished, sucked into an underworld known as the Everneath, where immortals Feed on the emotions of despairing humans. Now she's returned- to her old life, her family, her friends- before being banished back to the underworld... this time forever.
She has six months before the Everneath comes to claim her, six months for good-byes she can't find the words for, six months to find redemption, if it exists.
Nikki longs to spend these months reconnecting with her boyfriend, Jack, the one person she loves more than anything. But there's a problem: Cole, the smoldering immortal who first enticed her to the Everneath, has followed Nikki to the mortal world. And he'll do whatever it takes to bring her back- this time as his queen.
As Nikki's time grows short and her relationships begin slipping from her grasp, she's forced to make the hardest decision of her life: find a way to cheat fate and remain on the Surface with Jack or return to the Everneath and become Cole's....

Would you leave Nikki if you found another girl who could take her place as your queen?
I have ninety-nine years until I have to find another girl for the Feed, so I have ninety-nine years to convince Nikki to come with me. I'd like to say I would leave Nikki, but I don't know if I could. And that's the problem.
